About Liz Mentor
I started my HR journey in an environment— where HR wasn’t a department, it was a person. That person was me.
Over the past 20+ years, I’ve led learning and development programmes, facilitated skills planning, submitted WSP/ATRs, and helped businesses build smart HR systems — often with little more than a spreadsheet and some trust.
I founded Liz Mentor Management Services to help growing businesses set up HR the right way — human-first, practical, and free from corporate bloat.
About Liz
I didn’t start in marketing — but marketing has always been part of my story.
I began my professional journey in a creative studio, followed by incentive travel design, where I learned how ideas become campaigns, and campaigns become results. In my later HR work, I used marketing every day — shaping employee value propositions, designing internal events, and building the kind of workplace culture people want to be part of.
Qualifications
I hold a National Diploma in Occupationally Directed Education, Training and Development Practices (OD-ETDP) and an Advanced Fraud Examination qualification, blending people development with system-level thinking and process integrity.
I’ve also completed 13 certifications through AIHR (Academy to Innovate HR), covering everything from Strategic HR and Organisational Development to Learning Analytics and HR Transformation — ensuring my work is globally informed, locally grounded, and future-ready.
CPD & Courses
I’m a firm believer that learning never stops. My current CPD includes advanced studies in Organisational Development, participation in AI automation incubators, and hands-on exploration of learning systems, workflow tools and data-driven platforms.
Now, I bring that same strategic creativity to small businesses who need more than another “growth hack.” They need clarity, consistency, and someone who sees the real story behind their brand.
